A steady place to return to.

Holm Collective is a holistic health and wellness collective in Lacombe, Alberta — built on the belief that integrated, team-based care changes lives.

Our Story

Why We Started

The health and wellness landscape in Alberta is full of options — and almost no clarity. Sorting through the noise to find evidence-informed, whole-person care that actually addresses root causes rather than managing symptoms is exhausting. And doing it alone, without a team behind you, makes it harder still.

We have lived this frustration. As practitioners working in both traditional and alternative health spaces, we saw the same pattern repeating – patients arriving overwhelmed, uncertain, and let down by a system that treats symptoms in isolation. Referred from one provider to the next, with no one coordinating the full picture.

Holm was built as the answer to that pattern. A space where like-minded practitioners come together, not just to offer services, but to genuinely collaborate around the people in their care. Where the guesswork is taken out of integrative health, and where you can arrive knowing that someone is holding the whole picture.

Our Scandic roots run deep.

Holm is a Scandinavian term for a small island — a piece of land surrounded by water. Steady. Grounded. Separate from the noise, yet deeply connected to the world around it.

Our founder's Norwegian and Swedish heritage runs through everything Holm Collective is built on. The Nordic way of life rooted in simplicity, togetherness, and a deep respect for the natural rhythms of the body — felt like the truest expression of the kind of care we wanted to offer. A place that feels different the moment you walk in. Where you can exhale.

Like a holm itself, we exist to be a sanctuary and a grounding place for healing in a busy and confusing world, guided by both modern science and time-honoured wisdom.

"Growing up, I played competitive ringette and experienced the incredible magic of being part of a unified team. The same can be true for having a supportive team for your health. No single person has all the answers — but when experts of different backgrounds come together to address every aspect of your wellbeing, that is when the true magic unfolds.

It has been my mission to explore various techniques and modalities to enhance our bodies' wellbeing, and then find a way to integrate them harmoniously. I believe that by taking the guesswork out of holistic care, we are better able to create a cohesive care plan with optimised outcomes."

Clarity over confusion

The holistic health space is full of noise. At Holm, we take the time to explain our methods honestly — how they work, why they work, and how they address root causes rather than just symptoms. You will never leave an appointment more confused than when you arrived.

A team approach to complexity

When you are dealing with multiple symptoms or years of dysfunction, knowing where to start is overwhelming. Our collaborative model simplifies that process by your practitioners talking to one another so you don’t have to coordinate your own care.

A safe space to be honest

Vulnerability is part of healing. Our practitioners create a warm, unhurried environment where you feel genuinely safe to share – because care that doesn’t know the full picture cannot serve the whole person.

Transparency in investment

We understand that holistic care represents a financial commitment. We are upfront about pricing and focused on the long-term value of preventative care because investing in your health now costs far less than managing dysfunction later.

Progress at your pace

Change can feel daunting. We guide you through your journey with small, manageable steps that celebrate early wins and building confidence gradually, so sustainable healing feels achievable rather than overwhelming.
